'FULLER' Monthly ATC swaps Empty 'FULLER' Monthly ATC swaps

Post by Guest Sat 30 Aug 2008 - 19:38

This 'Fuller Swap is a continuation from the old forum.
These swaps only cost us 2, 1st class large stamps a month and at £1.04 I think it's good value for what we get.
For those interested here is the latest info:-

Anyone is welcome to join in at any time.
Either PM or send me an email and I will post you some printed labels for the back
of your ATCs and a PINKY with a 9 pocket page for your returns.

There is no starting date just a have a go if you want. Any medium can be used as long as they fit into an ATC pocket.
All ATCs must be with me by the last Tuesday of each month to enable
me to swap and post your returns to you by the 1st Tuesday of the following month.
Theses dates are because the 'Fuller' people meet every Tuesday morning.
We all meet in the large Church hall where usually about 70 + members go about doing various crafts,
drinking coffee and having a good natter. A nice start to my week. Some weeks local craftsmen or artists come in to show
or teach us their trades.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
All ATCs must be 3½ by 2½ inches
Make 4 identical (as near as possible) ATCs portrait style.
On Edition Line write the Theme followed by edition numbers - ¼ 2/4 ¾ 4/4 & so on depending how many are in the Edition.
On Title line write your chosen title.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Each month there are 2 different ATC Themes
( A 3rd theme will be available for the Fuller Folks to join in if they wish, which is is our ALPHA-2)
Theme 1 = W.I.S.E. . Wise = the 4 countries of the UK and will run for 4 months untill December.
Starting with Wales depict something relevant to each country but not just a map.
Theme 2 = Various

. . . . PINKY'S. . . received for August's swap
Me=Teabag . . . . Letter Z + Water
Maria . . . . . . . . Letter Z + Water
Di . . . . . . . . . . Letter Z + Water
Amullree . . . . . . Letter Z + Water
Mistyrat . . . . . . Water

Plus quite a few 'Fullerites' ATCs. Looks like it will be a good swap for such a hard Letter (Z)

My Post from the old site. Info on Pinkys =
Supergran , A PINKY is the envelopes complete with a 9 pocket page that I provide for all my postal ATCers.
The PINKYS save everyone a lot of bother when returning their swaps and also I can keep tabs on what is coming through my letter box and sort it easier.
We end up writing little notes to each other in the middle pocket which quite nice to receive (including one large 1st class stamp) . We still wish you would join us.

. . . . . . Ooh yes Billie, do join in. Bet you'd love it.

Oh Billie I would love you join in when the new ALPHA 2 swap starts in September.(sign-up ALPHA 2...ATC SWAP )

Also anyone who wants to join in my 'Fuller ATC ' swaps would also be welcome.
No sign up time just a 'get it to me time'. Which is the last Tuesday of each month.

Here are August ATCs.
Water (but not seaside)
'FULLER' Monthly ATC swaps 08Aug-Water-a
RS = rubber stamp

Top Row–
N= me Teabag. (RS ? & RS Tap with raised RS World). A= (water and Islands decoupaged). B= (Waterfall with yachts under it).
Middle Row--
C= Mistyrat ( What a serene looking RS lake with reflections). D= (rising RS Hippo). L= (beautiful Encaustic Art ATC water scene. How Liz achieves 4 the same I really don’t know, a very skillful lady). Sh= ( a tipped over water urn).
Bottom Row–
M= (French water pixies, very cute with what looks like real water in the glass). G= (‘Tear Drops’ well it is water of a different kind. This is hand drawn and I thought it was a RS 'cause all 4 were the same). B18= (peel-off Water Pump, and the pump is beautifully coloured in). Amullree= (Fish RStamped on card with a blue overlay of ? . . Can’t think what it is called but it gives the appearance of shimmering water).

Here are the August’s Letter Z ATCs. with 2 Kinetics
'FULLER' Monthly ATC swaps 08Aug-Letter-Z-a
RS = rubber stamp

Top Row--
N= me Teabag. (RS Zip but I had to draw the shirt and top of the zip). A= Angela (who ends her completely Musical Alphabet
with a Zither). M = (Maria has made this Zodiac complete with a Gem in the middle of the sun).
Middle Row--
G= Gillian (unfortunately I put her Kinetic Zed ATC upside down for the photo. Luckily it still looks OK !). Sh= Sheila (This Kinetic ATCs zip is a real one and it works). L= (Liz, and if you look close you will see she has used some of her encaustic bits on it)
Bottom Row–
D= (Di’s lovely Zig-Zag shouts for itself). SD= Amullreee (Zoo, with a nice RS Panda and coloured background with a Cage embossed over it in silver. A nifty way to get around the Z), B= ( Zulu, I like this bold designed ATC. B’ is Liz’s grand daughter who won her way into a senior school that is not in her area because of her good art work. B has been with us since nearly the start as she was nagging Liz to join, I had her make a trial ATC set first though). B18= Barbara ( a raised Zebra with peel-offs around the edge).

(I expected a loads of Zebras, so I think we all did very good with our various depictions of Z as it was a hard letter.
At Fuller there is a mother and daughter in law, who both have the same first name, hence the numbers).

The same has happened to your piccies as happened to my LO photos -
it's cut off the right hand side. I resized mine but they are a bit too
small now.

Lots to think about here, quite inspiring for the forthcoming ATC swap that I need to get in gear for. The zip is great, I want to know what's under it.

I love them all. Wish I had joined in - I feel as if I've missed out, but really
wasn't well enough. However, I've done my Oriental ones and will have a
couple of craft days next week and work on the others.

Maria, I thinkBarbara's Pump is the best ATC she has ever made so I will pass on your comments when I se her. B' had never done much crafting untill she joined in the ATC swap and she has come on by leaps and bounds.
It is lovely to see the improvement of peoples crafting skills thoughout the months.

Nona rang to say she had got my swaps, and I was very happy when she said that
they were great. I told her, my first step is Nona approval. If she's happy, so am I.
She's got a sore eye so she is resting it today and has a checkup tomorrow, so she
won't be logging on.
