Maria - finished Twinchies
Well I am uncharacteristically late with this, so sorry about that.
I was going to make these into a cover for a book and then bother you all with questionaires and things (and I am still planning to do that) but in fact these laid out were far too big for a book cover, so back to my layout idea. This way I can look at it and remember what this was all about when im in my dotage!
here it is
and the writing bit (in case you cant read it and because I am a soppy devil) says
Well I joined this forum in late 2007 and can hardly imagine my life without it now. I have found fun, friendship, encouragement and support on the forum, to say nothing of being able to take part is some super swaps, challenges, share crafting tips and artwork and of course it has brought my own crafting on no end. The very best thing is the friends I have made – for they really do feel like my friends… it is they who comfort and cheer me when I am down, who make me laugh and the way we all share our daily ups and downs keeps us truly in touch and makes us really feel like true friends.
This layout was part of a challenge we did in March 2008. Everybody had to make the letters CANNY CRAFTER in two inch squares, now known as twinchies. Then we had to make a piece of artwork with it. Contributors here are (clockwise) Lorraine, Nona, Steph, Gillian, Jo, Patty, Karin, Dawn, Joy, Kate, Cath, Kim

It's lovely and the words are terrific, I know just what you mean, what a great way to display the twinchies and the way Canny is part of your life.

What a super idea, Maria! Love the words you've put in the middle (of course, I strained my eyes trying to read them, only to page down and find you'd put the text there - should have realised you would be organised and do that!).

I have CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are in alphabetical order, just like they should be.

Fantabulous, Maria.
Love what you've done and I too think your words are heartfelt and genuine. (I enlarged them, hun 'cause I still couldn't read them, lol). I like the way you've copied the forum logo too.

Re: Maria - finished Twinchies
aww thank you for enlarging it - trouble was I C&Pd it in and couldnt seem to adjust the size which rather defeated the object.

A super lay-out Maria, a really nice keepsake. Love the words you've done in the middle. It has made a nice 12x 12 page.

Re: Maria - finished Twinchies
March 2008? sorry..had to say it.. it is 2009.
Never mind..when you reach your dotage you will have forgotten the year anyway...
I love what you have done..it is amazingly sentimental..just like me..are you sure we are not twins...
I love the colours and how it all looks like it was meant to match...which is even more amazing as we all did our own thing..and our own colours etc..so you have done it beautifully. x

I knew you would have to change it Maria...that's why i had to say something..it would haunt me too, but more so if i didn't know it was a mistake i hadn't spotted and no-one had told me so I could change it. But how beautiful it really is.x

Re: Maria - finished Twinchies
I love and I had thought of doing a LO similar to this myself. Will you mind if I place my twinchies similarly Maria?
That is if I ever get chance to do it!

Re: Maria - finished Twinchies
of course I wont mind - I mean there arent that many options if you want to get them all on a 12x12 anyway. I would never mind anyone doing anything I had done anyway.
