footprints
Well i thought I might as well show you anyway - not my best layout ever, and there is something I really dont like about it, but I cant put my finger on what. I did take the photo myself and was pleased with that (it was while Twiz was off doing a black run and I was waiting for him and there was noone around at all). its a bit of a scraplift from one of mums too, though not a patch on that.
it is straight in real life though as usual it looks on the wonk here.

Great fun photo!
Think if I was being picky I would say its the pinks not quite going with that lovely blue sky and clear white of the snow. But that's probably just me.
Like the letters and the swirly bits.

Re: footprints
My first thought was the colours, glad Di said the same, not sure what they're like IRL as photos dont always give the true colours, but the purple and lilac/pink go together, I think the puple is a little overpowering perhaps although I like the matting you've done. Still not a bad LO by any means, just put it in the album and it'll be fine, right now you have more to worry about.

Re: footprints
the blue at top is too distracting...its not needed and 'takes' something away from the sky...if you know what i mean...otherwise..it is perfect. Is there a space for journalling..even on the back.?

Re: footprints
Even before I saw comments from the others, I thought the background didn't go somehow.
It's a great photo though. If it's a digi photo why don't you scrap it again in a few
months and see what else you come up with.

Re: footprints
I think a paler base paper with a slight pattern would make the photo jump out at you, it is a gorgeous picture
Re: footprints
yes i dare say i will scrap it again, hopefully better. the more I look at it the more i disklike it.
To be honest I did it just as a distraction, and it shows!

Re: footprints
Well, I have to be the odd one out, don't I?
I actually like the colours, all of them, including the blue bit. I think that gives a nice extra element.
But...for me, Maria the pink mat is too large and that's what's overpowering the LO. Apart from that, I likes it.
I do like the lettering. They're super.

Re: footprints
Yes, I agree about the mat actually. I will do it again one day because the photo is too nice to have bodged up.
