boring boring
something has happened...or not!!! I have been 3 times to buy a craft magazine....and come away so disappointed , that i didn't even buy 1 mag... I usually struggle to not buy every magazine on the racks.....I went into town all happy this afternoon, sweaty, but happy..and there was not one magazine that i wanted????? I looked through them a few times and still came away empty handed. this is getting boring....the magazine people need a kick up the bum

You know what, Goaty.
I agree. I struggle to find one that floats my boat at the mo. I reckon Craft Stamper is about the best one out there at present and I do like that.

Re: boring boring
I got Cardmaking and Papercraft yesterday, I read a letter in it where a woman said it had occupied her for a 16 hour flight to Taipei. She mustt have been a bl**dy slow reader as it took me a very unimpressed 30 minutes
Re: boring boring

Re: boring boring
Same hear, found myself looking at the mags last week, the first time for a few months, and like you, didn't buy anything. Was quite pleased as that way I saved a few pennies.

Re: boring boring
They all seem to have stagnated don't they?
Nothing new to inspire at all.
Time somebody came up with some new techniques to teach us, although I can't imagine there's anything that hasn't been tried already.

Well Lou, you think up the techniques, teach us, then sell your ideas to the mags!!!

Re: boring boring
Ha, ha. If only I had that much imagination, Jan. and even if I did, I'm daft enough to GIVE them away instead of selling them, lol.

Re: boring boring
I occasionally go through old magazines which I have stacks of.
I am trying to go through and remove the bits that interest me and
get rid of the rest. Surprising what I come across.

Re: boring boring
I did look for a magazine to buy and only found one to buy...the others look boring again...can't wait til the next craft stamper....
I did give away (via freecycle) 2 more containers of crafting mags...the lady wants to get her nephews into crafting, so they went to a good home... now i have space to put some others on the shelf.

If I order the crafters wardrobe (99% sure I will), I will have to get rid of some of my mags too.
