Re: CJ CHAT
I have to say I was a bit shocked at how much this CJ cost to post. The first one was
around £5, this one was £7. I expected it at the end when they were getting full
and heavy, but, never mind, that's all part and parcel of CJing.
Anyway, I'm glad you like what I did. It's always harder at the beginning I think.
As for the tag, I totally forgot. I have the Sizzix snowman die, so will do one
and send it on to Tina to include.

Re: CJ CHAT
yes Steph, thats what I meant - last year the most I paid was £7 at the end I think and at the beginning they were more like £2 or £3. Bobs was sending to me and it looked like it was costing her the same to send to me in pounds as it cost me in euros IYKWIM. I was a bit worried after I posted that comment that people would think I was being mean, but I was just shocked at the cost of both these two.
Helens is large in that its 8x8 I suppose, and also in a double box. I could try taking one layer of box out maybe?
anyway, its worth it as you've done such a lovely job, but I just feel bad that its costing you so much (and me of course but thats my own look out. Maybe the others are smaller. I know mine is 6x6 and was only about £3 to send to Tina I think. As you say, all part of it I suppose but sorry anyway.

Re: CJ CHAT
Take heart though Steph, because when I sent yours on to Tina for Mia (posted in the UK) it was not nearly as much as that! Are you asking for second class small packet? And by the way, did you know you can print your own postage labels and pay by credit card on line via Royal Mail? It is really good if you need to do something in a rush and cannot get to the post office, especially for overseas post.

Re: CJ CHAT
Hey - stop apologising - postage is something you accept when you take
on a CJ. I may not be able to do it next time, but w'll see - that's a long
time ahead.

Re: CJ CHAT
I am sorry that mine is heavy already, I didn't know because DH usually posts CJ's for me as I can't always get to the PO and he didn't say anything. Sorry Steph
Take out the smaller box before you post it Maria, I only put it in that because the pages were loose as I couldn't find any treasury tags.
Glad you aren't so worried about it now it has arrived Maria.

Re: CJ CHAT
Well, I'm sorry too. I know postage is a nightmare now, especially for us crafters, and I should have posted to Maria.

Re: CJ CHAT
well its my blooming fault for living in France, so dont any of the rest of you start feeling bad. Its nice that you all let me join in given that it causes expensive postage and long posting times.
Helen, your journal is looking lovely and its worth every penny. I will take the inner box out thoguh cos as Steph says, its on tt's now. I know what I am going to do in it and am looking forward to it.

No Lorraine - I think you did it last time. You're no better off than me
sweetheart. I am not complaining aboutthe postage. It is part and
parcel of the swap, and I did offer to postto Marie. I am perfectly happy
to do so. It's only once a month. I only replied to Maria's
comment about the last parcel - it was dearer than I thought it would be,
but it's still not a problem.

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date
Re: CJ CHAT
Karelyn's is packed and ready to go, didn't take me long once I got going although it was hard to decide what to put in, as DH says I am thoroughly unique because I have so many quirks and habits!! So hopefully DH will post it Monday for me. I'll post in the posting thread once it has actually gone, just incase he doesn't make it.

Re: CJ CHAT
Did mine at the retreat, several people were fascinated as they hadn't seen one before. Any way job done, fairly sure I won't have trodden on anyone else's toes with my choice, phew, all scanned and ready to go.

Re: CJ CHAT
There's a lot funny in your life, Lorraine, but it has to make you laugh doesn't it, for the CJ?
I know what you mean, I'm going to stuggle a bit with that, or admit what a meanie I am and get a photo of someone falling over, preferably off shoes that I can't wear.
