No, I'm the same with Christmas presents; they all stay unopened until the day.

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date  Laughing

Well Luckily it's not too long to wait, I think I'd have tucked it away for a little while too, but couldn't manage for too long.

I've finished Steph's craft CJ and am hoping DH will post it for me tomorrow. If not I will do it as soon as I can this week. He is pretty good at posting for me and he is trying to get back in my good books so we shall see.

How exciting, I love it when CJ's come home Very Happy

Last year, we all put photo's up of our CJ's. Some put up one's they had taken and others photographed the complete book when home and put photo's up.

I have taken pictures of everything I did (but I think I must have forgotten Steph's and Maria's, doh!).

So, as long as we get to see them, you can do it anyway you please.

I know some of you haven't taken pics, so can you photograph your complete books and post all the pages up? Quick as you like...Mr Green

I can post what I have ...... whatever you want, as long as we get to see them all.

OMG!!!!!! I thought you girls did a superb job last year, but you've surpassed yourselves this year. It's just wonderful. Thank you, thank you. Mr Green Mr Green Mr Green

Karelyn - Billy Bud. I knew very little about Benjamin Britten so it was really interesting and love the papers.

Helen - Madame Butterfly. One of my fave opera's and composers. Gorgeous pages and some smashing info on Puccini.

Steph - Marriage of Figaro. Love the flap. Absolutely fabulous papers and the pic of the modern portrayal is well different.

Maria - Carmen. Beautifully put together, Maria. I love the little paper fan, it's gorgeous.

Tina - Julius Ceasar. I learnt a lot here. I didn't know Handel wrote operas so this was a surprise entry. Love the colours you've used.

Ruth - Lohengrin. This is a smasher Ruth, not least because you've included a CD. Mr Green That first soprano singing is just WOW!

Kate - Where The Wild Things Are. Didn't you do well, hun, lol. I've never heard of either the opera or Oliver Knussen, so this was great. Absolutely love the pics, pmsl.

Cynthia - Aida. Loved this. Verdi is one of my fave composers and Aida is fabulous. Some gorgeous pics here, Cynthia.

Sue - Salome. Another lovely surpise entry. I never think of Strauss as a composer of operas so this was a great entry. Fabulous pic of him too.

Kim - Porgy and Bess. I absolutely love this opera and one of my all time fave songs 'Summertime' is from it. Kim there is a phenomenal amount of work here, it must have taken you ages. I love it.

Thank you, girls. I'm over the moon with the whole thing. It's just beautiful.
Blow Kiss

I also wanted to say that I can't believe the condition it arrived home in. Not a mark or a crease out of place and still in the original box (although that looks well used, lol) so thank you for looking after it so well too. Very Happy
I will get pics up asap, but must start some wrapping first.

glad you love it so much lorraine ..
i thought it was fantastic .
it took me ages and ages to decide which to do ,first it was going to be pirates of penzance as its the only opera i have realy listened to and its lively and noisy and i love the music , but i could not get enough information on it to make a decent entry into your cj .
so i changed to beggars of something or other , and that also had little info with not many piccs available ,so porgy and bess it was cos i found loads of info and pictures . i tell you what ,i learned loads while doing this one , and it kept me accupied on many a worried sleepless night while i had my mind on other things ,,so Thank you lorraine xx

Yes, Tosca would have been my choice - good job you didn't do the G&S Pirates though Kim 'cos Lorraine wouldn't have classed that as an opera (LOL!!!) Strauss is one of my favourites too.

yes well I was going to do Tosca but Puccini had already been done so i thought better not to. I wanted badly to do HMS Pinafore but mum said you wouldnt have called it opera and she and i thought it best to stick to the classics. I learned heaps

I think that is the beauty of CJs - and it's not only learning,
but the rekindling of memories with CJs such as Maria's
childhood books. I think CJs are wonderful.

I haven't taken pictures of mine yet, hopefully will do later this week. Kate's is going to her today, I couldn't go when I said I would because of the snow and ice and evenings were out as I don't drive in the dark.

I was lucky to be the last one on your CJ so was
able to relish it in RL. That's the only problem - not being able to see
the finished creations, so love to see them on here.
