i will do my best. it will kill me not to go knowing i have someone on my doorstep to take me. not to mention not seeing everyone.

i'll probably go unless my surgery is that week of course. like tina said, i can always sit in the back with my leg up if needed. also i'm sure we can rig something if i need to keep my leg elevated for the weekend.

Me to please, already have the Friday booked as a day off.

dont tempt us jane !!!we all used to watch blue peter you know , a coathanger and a ball of string and some sticky tape and we will be able to rig something up yes sure !!!

When Tony had his knee flushed out (had it 3 times now) he didn't have to keep it elevated for long, but obviously couldn't bend it very much for a few days, bandaged up. Also told he had to use crutches for couple of days by one surgeon, not needed by another. One said to exercise straight away and another not for a few days. Seems to depend on who does the op and their opinion on how to do things! As its keyhole surgery it's not too bad, he had three small holes with one stitch in each.

When I ask how long before I could drive when I had my knee done he said when you can press your foot on the clutch with out pain the I could drive, that was the next day LOL it only hurt when I moved/bent it.

ok ruth has confirmed now and i thought she was the last to do so but we still have suzy ,di and bobs to confirm . i know peeps have booked rooms etc and confirmed a few months ago but i just want to know we are all still planning on turning up before i start taking money in ,id hate to have to ask for more ,or start having to get change and pay some back.
so ,if any of you see any of those 3 around the forum give 'em a nudge . i will pm them anyway but sometimes ppl dont see them

I've been holding on and on, but I really don't think I'm going to manage to come after all. I've realised it's just a week before the marathon, so I'll really be at the height of my training. Plus, the expense will be too much, what with going to London the following week, accommodation etc etc.

I'm working on a 'timetable' (ish) at the moment and will get it posted up soon with a 'needed supplies' list for the couple of lessons there will be and some challenges.
