Re: EQUIPMENT.
I'm bringing mine Jane, though not sure if anyone else was. I'm also bringing my Bind It All. Its probably on the first page of this thread where people said what they bringing.
Probably best to just bring a handful of the ones you think people will like. I like the sound of the scallop tag ones and hydrangea though.

Re: EQUIPMENT.
There's no way I could bring my Sizzix dies - I have 3 large boxes of them,
and boy are they heavy. I have mostly older ones - haven't bought any new ones
for yonks.
Think I've put elsewhere what I shall bring : nesties, embossing folders, some
of my stamps, TH alcohol inks and pads. Can't remember what else.

Re: EQUIPMENT.
Now hear this, now hear this.....not exactly equipment, I know.
I suddenly thought: for those who are planning to buy a DIY lunch each day, don't forget cutlery, plate, etc - otherwise I can see you spreading your pate with your craft knife, whilst balancing it on a chipboard circle that was intended for the stash swap!

Re: EQUIPMENT.
paper plates then I think or a piece of paper folded in half. have done that before many times. Just have to spirit away a fork or knife at the breakfast table. Maybe they'll let me take a plate too

I hadn't either, Steph - so I had a pretty good guess that some of the rest of you hadn't!

Re: EQUIPMENT.
this just reminded me of the pit parties we used to go to as kiddies ,we had to take along a plate a cup ,a knife fork and spoon all with our names stuck on them somewhere for when the ppl (parent volunteers ) had washed them ,so they knew whos they were

See now we're back to the straws. Put two together, and they fit in a bottle. (have seen my sister do it) so no need for glasses.

Patty wrote:Plates ... who needs a plate? Obviously you lot haven't ever roughed it!!!
Not so much a question of roughing it, Patty, but I seem to remember that we only have the meeting rooms so lunch will have to be eaten at the desk, so to speak. Wouldn't want any stray bits of food to get on our crafty stuff, eh?
Perhaps Kim or Lou would confirm my understanding: we don't have an area like we did at the last one where we can eat and drink, do we?

Re: EQUIPMENT.
I hate it when the pc starts messing around, scares the life out of me that its going to crash or something.
Parties sounds like they were fun. My Dad was in the army and I seem to remember skating parties., though it could just have been a hanger that we skated round. not sure about the food

depends, lots of hotels don't like to, as it effectively means you are self-catering not spending money with them.

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date
