Heaven

My idea of heaven is a retreat, this is a picture from the Warrington one I went to earlier this year and papers are byPebbles Inc-The Treehouse colection, the other bits are from the same kit from Sarah's Cards that the papers were from but not sure who they are by

That's one of my ideas of Heaven too!! Looks a grand retreat. Can't wait for November for my next one (and Mia is coming with me this time!)

I can't remember exactly, possibly about 68 delegates, then the design team who taught the classes plus a couple of runners.

You know, I don't think I'd like that. Too many people (strangers) for me and don't like those table layouts either.

I love our private little gatherings best.

The table layouts weren't for the classes they were held in three separate rooms, so we were split into 3 different groups, the large room was just for cropping in the evening or shopping or drinking or chatting etc. It is a very different experience and it was a little overwhelming at the start but it was very well run. I don't think I'd have gone but for the fact that it stemmed from the weekly crop so an awful lot of people there were ones who I'd met before at the crop. The small one we had is a whole other ball game, that was much more a group of long term friends meeting up where the classes were a bonus but equally had there been no classes and we had just scrapped, made cards or done whatever crafty thing we wanted to do it would have been just as much fun. Basically you can't compare the two

I agree - I think a lot of the personal contact would be lost
with too many people. Our 20 ish is perfect, IMHO

My first thought was, there's a lot of people there and then tablecloths???
The point is though, you had a great time and that's the thing, time to do what you want, heaven indeed, a great job.
