Retreat LO's 3 SCardsNannMum

To be honest this was my least favourite class as it was simply too distressed and messy for me, the background paper should have been dark brown but I decided the side I used was too pretty to hide, also there should have been a doily which to me looked horrible. I liked using the ink we used for aging but the whole thing is just to untidy for me.

I like them. But I see where you're coming from.

I struggle with ageing stuff too, always looks murky when I try it lol.
I like the lace flower and just the bit of blue with the brown and white/cream.

i too have trouble with distressing. i think i'd prefer to use distressed looking papers than adding ink all the time. i love the second one.

I like it, but I'd love to see what you'd had done if you'd been given free reign with the same kit.

Well I expect you all know by now how much I love distressing, but it is one of those things you either love or hate - and the result is very nice indeed.

I like the distressed effect and think you have made a good job of
it. I like it anyway. The second one is lovely and cheery.

I agree, for it not being your thing you have done a lovely job of it, but I would love to have seen what you would have come up with if left to your own idea. nice brightone here too.

I agree, there's distressed, and there's 'mucky' looking; you managed to save this one from being mucky Laughing . Love that bright and cheerful one too!

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date  Laughing
