I just had a package of ink that I expected this time last week, not sure what they're doing, it's unusually slow.
Fingers crossed they'll turn up tomorrow.

Yes, I had a parcel today that I chased yesterday and they told me it was posted last Thursday!! Had Thursday's postmark on too, so I know they weren't fibbing.

I'm going to give it until Wednesday and if Emma's aren't here by then, I'm going to send them out.

I hope they do arrive as it will be such a shame for Emma to miss out, but we could wait forever.

That happened to me once Emma, now I put a large stamp if there is any thing more than a letter thickness, its not the weight its if it goes through the slot I'm afraid, at least they have arrived now.

I know how you must feel, Emma - especially as you had the package checked at the Post Office. Next time, why don't you mark the package "checked for weight and size by the Post Office" - that way, they might think twice about charging at the delivery end. Edited to say that it doesn't explain why it's taken them two weeks to put the card through Lorraine's door to say it's there.

I love the post office but I do think they are taking the mickey charging an extra £1 when it takes so long to tell you it's late, I wonder if anyone's ever thought about challenging this legally, it's a rip off, wouldn't be so bad if it came whatever class postage was charged but it takes so long. Glad they are safe anyway.

Emma, please don't worry hun. Apart from the wait, which wasn't your fault, it's not a problem. Mr Green It's not so much the weight as the thickness. If stuff moves inside....did she try it through the slot? It's why we always use a large letter stamp for most stuff, and at least then you're covered.

And that's why, if I'm sending more than one thing in the envelope or Jiffy bag, I stick everything down on a piece of thick paper or card. Some people have had some very strange eBay packages from me, when I've been selling off surplus embellishments!

I do that as well, including ATCs (me and Sue are still swapping)
as things move about and can cost more.

Glad they got there Maria and that you liked your choices.
Could have sent Patty's over if I'd thought of it. Mind you, she'd have asked me if she'd wanted that wouldn't she? lol. Mr Green
