Ok, here's my discomfort zone card.
1) I used buttons, which I struggle with, and
2) The things all came from the same kit with none of my existing stash added, just ink. Usually if I have a kit I split it up and use the bits with my existing stash, and it's not been in my stroking zone for long either.

Well I like it Karelyn. If you don't feel comfy with this, what will you
come up with when you do.

Re: Karelyn's uncomfortable card...
I just don't keep them in whatever they come in, so I put the brads in with my existing brads etc. I tend to look at the incoming stash and think... ooh that would go nicely with something else I've already got.
I have a block with using what's there together. Sometimes, it's a bit of a keeping for best thing too, I'm not good at using new stash. I know I'm just a bit strange, but happy to be so.

i think crafters are all a bit strange in some way or another . me , i like keeping expensive embellies for best , and then they go out of fashion . not that i follow scrap fashions and trends that much but ,,,,,oooh you know what i mean .....dont you?
i dont split kits though , i always keep them in the pizza box they come in , and dont ever separate til its all used up
