Re: CJ Chat - 1
Aww Im all excited now after reading Sues post that shes got my 'lovely little book' that made me really perk up.
Im glad Helens has got to you Lorraine - that was super fast considering it only went economique (they say a week-10 days for that and they usually take a week). Still, Im not complaining. Glad you like the stamps - When i said can i have stamps please instead of a vignette because she collects them she said 'mais oui, bien sur' and changed them from bog standard stamps to that sort. Makes up for my lousy packing up attempts.... Last month I thought I was getting better but this months was worse again.

Re: CJ Chat - 1
It's packed well, hun.
I haven't opened it yet, as I'm gonna leave it until I've finished Patty's over the weekend. The stamps will be carefully removed and popped in my drawer. They are lovely ones, so please thank your post office lady for me too.

Do you collect stamps Lorraine ? When I get home, I can find you some.
I used to collect but haven't done so for ages and have lots of loose ones upstairs.

Re: CJ Chat - 1
Yes and no, Steph. It's not a 'serious' collection. Years ago, yes but not now, now it's anything that strikes my eyes, which of course, always includes foreign ones. I often want to use them in my crafting, but something seems to stop me, lol. I will use some of them though, so please don't send any that you think may be 'keepers'.

I've just about finished Patty's and I'm loving it.
Patty, you are going to be so chuffed with this book. There are some fabulous pages in there.

Re: CJ Chat - 1
Yes, funny to think I needed rather a lot of persuasive talk to get me to join in this one ... I have simply loved doing it, I must say. Kt's is done and all packed up ready to go to Steph but I shall hang on to it until I know she is home and ready to craft. It is looking great, as indeed they all are. Can't wait to get mine back.

Re: CJ Chat - 1
Sure I just replied to this - either I lost the message or its tagged onto another thread.
It would be ideal if you could post once I am home Patty. No one at home in the daytime at
the moment. Is this the CJ due to go out on 30 March ?

Re: CJ Chat - 1
Don't fret Steph - it is, as Mia has said, Kt's one due out on 2nd March but I will keep it until I know you are safely home and well enough to do it. I think the next one is due to be posted on 30th March as Lorraine has said somewhere else (I think!!)

I got 'Words of Wisdom' done, photographed and packaged up today. Tim will be posting it tomorrow, all being well. It's looking fab!
As is Lorraine's 'Renaissance Art'. I just have to decide who I'm going to do!

Ooh, ooh ooh, that's mine, thanks for saying that. I've no doub it will be wondeful, but I don't remember seeing any other comments, it'll be time to get really excited before too long.
I'll be sending Steph's on to Helen in the morning, I haven't got it wrapped yet as I had a brilliant idea about making a few notes myself from the info in there, but haven't done it yet, mmm.

Re: CJ Chat - 1
I would count myself very lucky if ALL the artists were different as there
could be some I know little about. Still, some repeats are expected as I know it isn't an easy subject.

Re: CJ Chat - 1
I know what my words for Karelyn's are gonna be..."If you don't behave yourself, I'm going to clip you round the sodding ear" That's my all abiding memory of words of wisdom, ha, ha.
Having posted Patty's off to Karelyn, I have just now opened Helen's. OMG!!!!! Helen, you are going to just love this, hun. I've loved all the books, but I think this has to be my fave. The work you've done in there girls is stunning. Just beeeeeeutiful. AND...I can't believe it, but I can do my animal too. (well, one of two faves)

Seriously I hope you put that in, I'm a believer in scrapping all of life,
I'll knock you through to next week is one of my remembered terms of endearment! Along with I'll tan your backside so hard you won't sit down for a week, trouble is it wasn't entirely a bluff.

Re: CJ Chat - 1
I dunno, we were wise enough to keep our heads down when we heard them LOL
There does seem to be some gremlin in the post this week, mine took 2 days to get to Helen and it cost £5.00 I might as well have sent it 2nd, the twinchies took 2 days to get here, most unusual. Lots of people not received yet or have I missed them?
