Well i dont know if i mention that I had been itching to try mosaics, i love the tiles and the glass and stone and i am always attracted to mosaic things, anyway, JL got me a load of stuff (and a book) for Christmas and ive been having a play around. My first few efforts at coasters were a bit wonky but im quite pleased with these two (they are pot stands in case you wondered). Anyway, thought id show you

Lovely use of colour there, Maria: really excellent for one of your first attempts. The heart one has been made just in time for Valentine's day: maybe you should make a set of 12, one for each month?

Love the blues in the first one and the 2nd one is perfect for valentines day, they look super flat which is not easy, so well done.
