Home Sweet Home (Kt)
Hello,
Me & mum went and did a workshop yesterday at Paddys Stamping Place (its where Cynthia & Sue go a lot!), called Home Sweet Home where you spent the ENTIRE day decorating a cute little house
Was great fun, but want to buy more of these houses now to decorate!!!
Here's mine (Will upload pics of mums when she's added more to it), it's still a work in progress going to add more bits and pieces to each room.
Full house front on - painted with acrylic paints, then stamped images on using archival inks.
Side view, you can see more of the stamping! Fell in love with that butterfly stamp also can see the roof detail, which is paper punched with a edge punch, cut into strips then layered onto roof.
Attic room, image & saying stamped directly on (with a few dots left over from punching the roof strips lol). Little bat guy is someone whose been floating about so added him to my home lol
Love these 2 rooms, the sayings is one quote which I've managed to split in half.
Quote says "Even the wildest dreams have to start somewhere, allow yourself the time and space to let your mind wander and your imagination fly."
Not keen on this room, but it seems to work. Metal embossed with a tim holtz folder then distressed. Cotton reel painted the same as the house, then decorated.
Basement lol - My fave room out of the three is the one with the crow image, love how I've stamped that!

This looks SUCH fun Kt and a lovely thing to have when you have had all that fun too, to remind you how good it was! I love it, especially the colours and the cotton reel.

Fantastic, Kate. I just love all of it, but I really like the metal.
I sometimes look at your work now and remember what you used to do. Your style has changed sooooooooooo much. I often get inspired by you now.

It's great Kt. Some lovely stamps you have used.
Is it free standing or will it go on a wall?

Gorgeoussssss.
You've lamost inspired me to do something with a card house I bought years ago and just has aromatherapy oils stood in it. But I've got so many other things that must be done.
I live the colours and the metal, the stamping and sayings too, even the buttons are lovely LOL
Project of the day award from me, or even week but it's not over yet. It'll take something to top this though.

Hey Billie, I'm not sure where they are from as the lady who owns the shop that runs the workshops bought them in. I know she's planning on getting more, if you want I can get you one and post it on to you when I next go x
Thanks for all the lovely comments, I am very pleased with it. Still haven't had a chance to play more with it and add bits to it!
Re: Home Sweet Home (Kt)
That would be great Kate, let me know how much and when/if you get one. I will send you the money plus the postage.
