Fiskars Eyelet Tool
Does anyone have one of these and if so what do you think of it?
My Mum has just bought herself one thinking it looked easier to use than my Silent Setter. She got it from QVC but when it arrived she couldn't remember how to use it. Not having seen this one before was unsure myself, we tried this afternoon and couldn't get it to work so I brought it home to play with. Malcolm took one look at it and worked it out straight away, but I don't think it's particularly easy for someone with arthritic hands.

Re: Fiskars Eyelet Tool
Is it the springy thingy Cath. If so you place the eyelet hole cutter part on the paper, hold tight at the bottom and then pull hard at the top part pulling the springs apart and let go.........it makes a racket but it punches perfectly.
You get three in a packet and they are all different sizes. My middle one has broken on me as it twanged too hard.........to much use.

Re: Fiskars Eyelet Tool
these can be quite tough to use , i have them and have trapped my pinkies in it often and that hurts . just remind her to keep her fingers out the way and hold the bottom of the thing not the spring , and they dont very often work on the first bang , you have to do it 3 or 4 times , and i never ever got it to " set " an eyelet , i always had to get the hammer out for that .
