OK, girls. Time to get the ball rolling. CJ CHAT 298664

There will be threads for specific things so please don't use them as chat threads, use this one. CJ CHAT Icon_lol

I have not thought about posting dates yet, but it won't be for a few weeks. Probably September sometime for the first one, as this seemed to suit most of you. If it's still not right, just say so.

For now, you can think about your themes, start making your book...etc, etc. CJ CHAT 298664

This will also be the sign up thread, so if you want to join in, just shout. CJ CHAT 569346

ONLY regular posters on the forum will be allowed to join. Please do not join if you are not willing to commit as these are time consuming and if you can't be bothered to do your pages and get them out on time, then people are let down and that makes me very, very unhappy. CJ CHAT Icon_twisted (obvious exceptions are unforseen circumstances and emergencies).

So, get your thinking caps on and enjoy. CJ CHAT 298664

I think I know my theme but I'm just debating about it now as I have so many ideas I want to do.

MMMMM, I'm sure no one else will think of it (it's an unusual theme- I think so any way) so I might just think for a bit longer.....

Love doing these but they can get in the way of 'my own' crafting, it does further the sense of community here though, I'm seesawing at the mo, knowing I'll regret it if I don't. Got a little while to decide yet. Lorraine has safely put a bit of a damper on it straight away as I don't do opera, so that's good, although her themes are always brilliant and educational. I have got a theme in mind, oh dear here I go.
Not decided yet, must see how much catching up I can do before the end of summer.

well I cant commit to this the way things stand at the moment... it all depends when its going to start. Id love to play, but will have to wait for the time being.

is it going to pee people off paying out to send it to France?

one more question... is it going to pee people off if I were to choose a theme we had last year? (come on, you all know which one I loved and I still havent seen the whole book!)

Maria, sign up hun and if things change we can adapt, we're still looking a bit ahead here. If needs must, I shall postpone a months posting.

Nobody will be peed off posting to France, I'm sure and you can have your theme for whatever you want, repeated or not. Mr Green

Me please, better get my thinking cap on and choose a theme. I can't speak for anyone else Maria but it wouldn't bother me sending to France or if you picked a theme we've already done, there were one or two I would have liked to own as well!

Maria - I will be happy to post to you. I really wouldn't mind, and
actually offered last time.
If you have to take 'time out' I'm sure you will be able to catch up at the end, so don't
worry about it. There are ways and means.

yes but girls, I have to post it a week before the date each time, and I will be receiving a week after the date usually, which only gives me two weeks to do it (yes I know I do it in a day) but I have a booking in the middle of September at Les Arbres and I could be in the Uk for ages or be in the maelstrom of it all and these are not things I want to be throwing together.

To be honest, not withstanding all that, I would manage but its the start date thats bothering me...we just dont know when 'it' is going to happen and I dont want to add any more pressure. I know some of you are really keen to start....

Im thinking on it, but thank you for all being so encouraging and for all not minding about the postage etc. I will be fine on the doing it monthly Im sure, its the being ready to go by September thats the problem at the moment.... i could easily lose the whole of August for example.

Patty - what says you? you are doing lots of crafting at the moment and it would be a nice little diversion for you to start getting it ready, and well, if you are out here you could continue getting it ready with my stash (Hmm, a bit of a rash offer) or help me with mine if I havent done it yet....please consider it mum, think of the months to come and how pleased you were you joined the last one.

Kim - lots of choice with your theme, even if the favourites go.
I have one favourite in opera Lorraine, of sorts. I really don't like opera.
Love classical music, but not opera, although the 3 tenors went some
way to making it more popular with me.

It's first to get the CJ who has first choice. As Lorraine (or Bobs) said
last year - no baggsying allowed. Rolling Eyes

Yep, absolutely no baggsying, Kim. Mr Green

OK, Maria and Patty. Obviously, you are under no pressure to do this and you have to do what you think is right for yourselves. But, all I can say is that we're all behind you and if you need the extra time then I WILL adjust the schedule. I know you both love doing these and although you do other bits of crafting and there is a committment here, it's no biggy and can be sorted. So, please don't worry about that side of things or us...it'll all work out. Loves ya

well, Im giving it serious thought. Thanks as ever for your understanding. Having talked to Patty, I dont think she will join in anyway - understandably she wants to keep her options open to travel a bit and not be tied down to dates.

Its the start date thats the problem for me, as I say. The rest I will manage.

If you want to join in KT then I think you should put your name down, I don't think it will get to the point where there are too many people.

Maria, we will work around you whenever you need us to. Not a problem.
Karelyn, come on, you know you want to lol!

Well, I'm going to run my theme past you before I make it official to see if anyone thinks it is too difficult or seasonal or whatever.

It's not 'too' anything, Helen. If you want it, you have it. It'll make for a very pretty book I think and there's loads of different looking snowmen around. Mr Green

It could be anything that you think of to do with snowmen really so a song, book, film, snowman jokes, snowman pictures, instructions for how to build a snowman or anything else you can think of.

I have a bit of a thing for snowmen and at last count I had 30 stamps and have just started on soft toy ones too Laughing I think I just like collecting things.

OK then, seems as I have the perfect idea for the cover I will decide on that for my theme.

I'm still umming & ahhing, lot to consider as I really struggled towards the end last time (but then there was a lot going on) & I'd have to be sure I can afford the postage (Cynthia lived near Jen so I could combine it with a trip, when Gary wasn't crashing the car!).
Also some lovely ideas coming out but I wouldn't have a foggiest what to do with Lorraines "Opera" themed one......... Shocked

Though I do like your "Snowmen" Helen, sounds really sweet Mr Green also when I read Kims theme I was like Oooooooooo I know what I could do for that!!!!

Uummmmmmmmmmmm, aaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Thinking
