Summer Reads.
I thought I would start a thread for you all to pop in your book titles for what you have read...or what you are still reading this summer.
Just before i left for my holiday, teabag popped a book throught my door in the early hours of the morning, she had been taunting me with it so much, while she was reading it and then she let her hubby read it before i got it....anyway, you must get it and read it if you like thriller/mystery/girl themed books. It is very unusual as it it written by three different authors..........yes, same story by three talented female writers. the book is in three parts...beginning written by Lisa Jackson, Middle written by Beverly Barton...and the ending written by Wendy Corsi Staub.
The styles of writiing blend brilliantly, the story is based around a school reunion held 20 years after a tragic and murderous evening Prom. One by one many of the people in the story are terrified and murdered............. The killer remains a mystery for a long time in the story...I did get inklings here and there...
A super read for anytime of the year.
It actually won the title of 'Scariest Novel of The year' (publ 2007)
It is called 'Most likely To Die'

Re: Summer Reads.
That sounds like my sort of lightreading. I do like thrillers.
Goodness know when I'll get anywhere to get it though.

Re: Summer Reads.
Thanks Nona - arrived safely. I have done the PP thing for postage.
Do you want it back or shall I pass onto someone else ? If it's as
good as you and Suzy say, I'll send onto Maria.

Re: Summer Reads.
Thanks Steph, just got the email from PayPal.
A nice idea to pass it on to Maria when you've read it.
I think the postage to France is expensive though unless you send it to Patty to give to her sometime?

Re: Summer Reads.
I have started reading said tome.
I also had a £25 book token so managed to buy 6 great paperbacks from WHS
as they are doing 'buy one get one half price'. If anyone is interested all
Deaver books are BOGOHP at the moment.

Re: Summer Reads.
I wasn't sure if you had gone back to France Maria but have
just noticed in a thread that you are now back home. I posted said tome to
Patty so it will be there for you or if Patty comes to see you.
It's as good as Nona and Suzy said.
