Re: EQUIPMENT.
If they don't do any provision of food at the meeting rooms, I can't see them having plates and suchlike available for the hirers, Jo. Tina's probably right: they expect you to go to the restaurant for your meals and spend money with them. But as they don't have a snack menu, what are we supposed to do if we're eating there in the evening and so don't want a full meal at lunchtime?
I shall definitely be bringing a basic "picnic" kit.

Re: EQUIPMENT.
Just thought: do we get to have our tea and coffee rations out of proper cups or mugs, or is it paper ones, I wonder?

Re: EQUIPMENT.
Well I've packed a plastic plate and small cutlery (was Lily's) just in case. Suzy sounds like good idea if the others think so too.
Lovely of you to offer, be like having a party again

Re: EQUIPMENT.
Forgive me if my brain isn't working (still stuffed up with this cough and congestion), but did we ever come to any decision about the fridge? I'm guessing it's a no-no, as we only have the two rooms and it's very noisy when it's running anyway.

Re: EQUIPMENT.
I think we decided to have a fridge Lynda and just not bother letting the staff know... and if they did ask say it was for someone insulin, though I could be wrong! lol
Re: EQUIPMENT.
Kim's put in the retreat thread that she rang them this week and there is a fridge in the room we are hiring.

Re: EQUIPMENT.
I will bring my pack of vinyl gloves, in case anyone wants them to wear for alcohol inks or anything. They are OK for those who are allergic/sensitive to latex (Ruth is, I know).

I've just put a couple of packs of baby wipes in my case so those

even just for a couple of days.

Re: EQUIPMENT.
How desperately do we need alcohol ink blending solution? I don't have any and just looked at it on ebay,(pushing my luck a bit for delivery time now I think) I might be able to get some if I pass the range, but not confident, does Coventry have a craft shop, or can I blag some from someone?

Yeah, there'll be plenty around, Karelyn.
You won't need much anyway.
Steph, you're gonna have to bring your whole house soon,

Re: EQUIPMENT.
I didn't know that Kim about the butter. Does that mean real butter or can cheap marge do the trick too. Thanks for that.
Steph I too have the house with me, am just leaving the beds for Lily and Martin
Seriously though. In reality for crafting I have only got one trolley and one bag. 1 small case for clothes. And that would be it. But I've got the stuff I said I'd bring, stuff to sell and stuff to eat !!!! So no one laugh at me when I empty my car or I'll sulk !!!!!!!!!!

Re: EQUIPMENT.
Mia - as a seasoned traveller, as well as a seasoned drinker, there is permanently a corkscrew in my washbag!! I know I don't take much anywhere with me, and only just throw it all together the morning I go, but I haven't (so far!) forgotten anything important like a corkscrew ... anything else I may forget, well I just manage without it!!! You all know from last time that I wear the same clothes all weekend (apart from undies!!) so there's only a handful of bits of put in a bag.

Re: EQUIPMENT.
Have decided I won't bring my Cricut after all. Have just finished packing all the rest of the craft stuff (we are out all day at cricket tomorrow) and have realised it's all plugged in, under the desk, miles of cables etc etc.
Hope no-one was relying on it.....
