That's wonderful Helen, thanks. I've ordered a few more pads from ebay and my cut n dry foam came today, so I think I have enough to get me going.
I have so many heaps in my tiny craft room I can't move, time to tke over the sitting or dining room I think.

Talking of piles in rooms - Mia arrives tomorrow, as does my new but at the moment her room looks like a bomb's hit it. All the bedlinen from the airing cupboard is still on her bed and there are various piles of stuff saying "this for Mia" "this for Patty" etc. Hardly room to swing a mouse, let alone a cat. Still she can always sleep in with me if there's no room in the craft room for her - that way my stash will stay safe too!

I think my twinchies will need to be renamed twonkies, I apologise for the cutting, I started to use the trimmer but that only highlighted just how wonky my first cuts had been!!!

So, twonkies are nearly made, packed my bag with clothes etc, added more to each pile of things and still feel like I've got loads to do.

made me laugh out loud at that. Glad I'd finished my coffee.

Thats why I started doing it all last week, and now I just need to get me ready. Shower, shave and hair !!! Oh and nails, which my friend is doing for me.

I only finished it all properly this morning. Mind you my list did involve things like making a necklace to match a top !!!!

Post by thriftycrafter Thu 15 Apr 2010 - 10:27

Well I'm feeling quite well on in the jobs to do now, after reading that.
Route was done yesterday or day before,
Pictures printed last week, although I have had another idea of something that I probably won't have time to do which will mean I'll have to print those out myself
shortbread is in the oven, having been in briefly, then when I discovered the sugar still in the scale pan, out came the shortbread, back in the bowl, sugar addded and back in the oven, good start!
Cooking cupboard cleared out as there was sugar/flour all over the shelves (kids I suspect).
2 punches and one distress ink have just arrived, so hopefully the other 2 will come tomorrow. If not I have 3 pads and 5 bottles now so that will have to be enough.
About to search for a timetable which I saw mentioned by someone, but don't remember seeing myself.

Well I am completley done.

Have made the cake, cleaned the kitchen, cleaned out the car, shaved, showered, haired, bags taken down to next level of house and am sat here watching the clock RETREAT CHATTER.. - Page 7 528403

I only have to put cake in the tin, straighten my hair and then pack them, load the car, my friend is coming tonight to do my nails and of course I need to have extra long big cuddles with Lily.....and martin LOL

My route is on sat nav, I also have it memorised (almost) and I tend to put single instruction bits on post it notes, and then as they are done I just tear top one off, leaving next to be read. ie., M1 to J21
