review of the decade
I started doing this for a project elsewhere on 2010 and the first challenge was a review of the decade just ended... I nearly didnt do it, and whilst it was time consuming first remembering what had happened when and then journalling it all and then finding the photos. The hardest part was fitting it all on the page.
Anyway, whilst not great from a 'lovely layout' point of view (its more like an essay and far too crowded) I am so glad I did it. Not just to have it all documented but it made me realise what really has been achieved in the last 10 years and left me feeling much brighter, rather than just sad about the disaster that was 2009.
I thought I would show you anyway.

Re: review of the decade
that's an excellent idea - one to put on a forever growing list.
I can just about make out the journalling and very interesting read.
Gosh - ten years ago seems a lifetime ago.
Love the little photos as well.

Well done my girl! I know you found this one difficult but it is good to have it all documented and is, as Steph says, an excellent idea .... but you have youth on your side - I cannot even recall what I was doing ten years ago!!!!

Re: review of the decade
Great idea, well done, hard work going through things to find out what happened when, and time consuming, but what a wonderful thing to have done.
Would love to read it, is it coming to Coventry?

Re: review of the decade
That did it, Kim. I tried and managed to make it bigger and read it, and I did, a very hard thing to sum up a year in a line or 2 and you've done a terrific job Maria, emotional, but that is what scrapping is about, adding the feelings to the pics, making a memory available for others to share. A shining example to those thinking about scrapping this, to me is what it's all about.
