MarySue - This is a bit about me.
Born in London and parents moved to Kent in the middle 1960’s. Have one brother who lives in Norfolk and is married with a daughter of 10. My mother is still with us, my father passing away at the age of 50. Married for nearly 35 years to my DH; he is a Kent man and has a couple of brothers one of which has two sons. One of our nephews has learning difficulties.
We have no family ourselves and no pets either although we have had a one of our neighbour’s cats come to visit us on a regular basis and she became our ‘part time pet’ for a number of years until about 18 months ago when she became unwell and died. I work as a health librarian at the local hospital professional library which keeps me out of mischief.
I love to read, listen to music (I carry around two mp3 players!!), birdwatching although I don’t do as much as I used to, photography (I always have a camera about my person) and tracing my family history. I used to edit the local parish magazine and have served several terms on the parish council (church parish council that is). I did facilitate a craft group for a while, lead a church bible study group and organise church publicity but all that has been passed to others as I take time out and take up other pursuits including working towards a professional qualification.
I’ve been a crafter of some sort for many years: embroidery, x-stitch, stitched cardmaking, stamping, crochet (can’t knit to save my life) and scrapbooking (mainly scrapbooking my faith). In recent years I’ve co-organised several faith-based scrapbooking retreats in various parts of the country. I remember the time when we thought it was amazing that we could buy peel-offs to embellish cards and when we discovered embossing that was just incredible!! Now look at the resources we have and the limitless possibilities of creating small and large pieces of artwork in all manner of media.
Well, that's a little about me and I hope and pray I haven't bored you too much.

Interesting biog - thanks for posting it. Like you, I have dabbled in most
crafty things and haven't got one particular art - I love it all but do enjoy
sending and receiving ATCs.
I do hope you stay round and get to know us and join in.

Lovely to hear more about you. Whereabouts in Kent are you? (I have lived in Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge and Crowborough, just over the border in my time)

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date
