craft stamper free stamp
Has anyone had a problem with the 'visage' face stamp off this magazine, i cannot stamp using arinondack pad, it seems to react badly .....but with other inks it seems fine?? (ink pad was new last nite and works fine on other stamps)
also, my friend asked me to ask if anyone does decopatch and if so, have they tried using pva glue instead of the expensive decopatch stuff? what results?

I know some new stamps have a coating over them and I
wondered if this is one of those. I think you needed one of those
stamp cleaner cloths. Might not be that of course - just a thought.

I'll have a go with mine tomorrow if I remember and let you know.
I rarely use the free stamps as mostly I think they're rubbish. Have had a couple of good ones though.
As for the PVA, that should be just as good as the other stuff. I use it for coating lots of things.

Mine is fine Goaty - in fact I like it a lot! And yes, the PVA works just as well - usually I mix it with just a wee drop of water to make it easier to spread.

Re: craft stamper free stamp
I have had a good reply from the stamper magazine , i will have to copy and paste it, sounds like good advice, but i will try it myself and see if it works before passing it on. x x x
thanks for your replies..i did try to clean it with sellotape like i do for the rubber stamps...and we cleaned it with water and a cloth. used other ink and it was fine, so i have to try the suggestions and see what happens x
