The duracell mummy
well - you all know about Pattys energy levels (dont we all just wish we had them) and in the summer we called her the duracell mummy cos like the advert, she 'just keeps going, even when the others fail' 'look, they are dropping like flies, but duracell mummy just keeps going' etc.
This layout captures her in action! (and will make her smile when she gets back from her crop)

Re: The duracell mummy
OMG!!! That makes me sound so silly!! But yes, it did make me smile Mia! Mind you, I do love this layout - and it shows just a few of the things I so love to do in France ... you know what us Mummies say - nothing like being needed and there always seems to be plenty to do. I have been known to get up a tree at Les Arbres with the chain saw too. I just seem to have endless energy and I've got to use it up somewhere, haven't I? The young things at my kick-boxing class all laugh because I can out-run them all! Long may it continue, I say.

Re: The duracell mummy
well - any time you want to make another linen bin liner.......
at least the photo shows you were allowed to have a cup of tea whilst you did it, as long as you didnt stop for it, as it were!

Do you know, it is only when we all see these layouts we all do that we realise just how lucky we all are, eh? So many memories and all set out in such a form that we can look on them all with delight at not only the photos and the memories but the pretty stash we have used too!

Re: The duracell mummy
Quite agree Patty. I think, like Maria has captured here, it's those little
moments that will become nice memories that make life special. I think we are
lucky as scrappers because 'ordinary' folk don't have that to look back on. My
sister has boxes and boxes of photos but wouldn't be able to find anything. With scrapping
the LOs are there to enjoy.

Re: The duracell mummy
aw, so lovely and full of energy and full of hope for the future....in my house, its best to use carrier bags as bin liners....easy to get rid of the yucky stuf that finds itself in bins...
love the shapes, and colours...

Re: The duracell mummy
Fantastic layout. My mum is the same, have come home to a tidy house, ironed clothes and new bedclothes on all the beds!
