Ivy Christmas Wreath
I know I've told you about this one before, but it bears repeating - especially as pennies are tight for everyone and this way you get a wreath for your front door absolutely free!
Collect a load of ivy stems, the longer the better. Take the longest stem, hold one end and bring round the other end to meet it at a point where you think your wreath will be big enough - it won't be a circle yet, but don't worry. Wind the remainder of the stem round and round your "circle" to anchor it. Take another long stem and, starting at the point where you finished winding the last one, start winding that all round the "circle". Just keep repeating that until your wreath looks bushy enough: as you work, the shape will slowly make itself into a circular wreath.
Decorate it as you wish, with bits and pieces you have in your Christmas decorations or craft stash: tie a loop of ribbon or garden twine round to make a hanger and hang it on your door.

I have CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are in alphabetical order, just like they should be.

Re: Ivy Christmas Wreath
Nice. Mother has brought me a load of dried sticks twisted into a wreat so that I can make mine, er great, I have a nice fake one in the loft which serves me well. I'll see, as soon as I get spare time I'll do it. Love the idea, like so many other ideas.
