Interesting charm
This is the charm that I was sent as a Christmas gift by my friend in Iowa. She enclosed the business card of the handmade jewellery store who sold it to her, but there's nothing similar on their website - it's all gems and silver stuff.
I keep looking at it and wondering....do you think the silver-coloured piece in the centre is the waste from some peel-offs? Ditto the small piece at the bottom right, although that's not quite so obvious. The green and pink in the background is definitely just glitter.
I know you can get these mounts with their resin covering quite easily in the US: knowing my love of recycled things, it's quite possible.
It's an abstract design, by the way, in case you're trying to figure it out!

Re: Interesting charm
If you think it is Lynda, then it probably is. Not easy to tell from the pics, but looks like a possibility.
I can see what you're thinking, go one, we'd love to see them ;)

Re: Interesting charm
That's pretty. Yes it does look like peel off waste, the cut out shape looks a bit like fleur de lis.

Re: Interesting charm
Is it metal or Is it polymer clay with powders on? Could then have the peel off in and clear liquid clay on top to set it?
Or enamaled with punched out metal sheet?? Intriguing but pretty.

Re: Interesting charm
No, it's definitely a metal backing, Jo: looks like a purchased item rather than handmade. It's just the part under the resin or whatever top that's handmade.
