Cynthia's (Mistyrat) card Empty Cynthia's (Mistyrat) card

Post by Guest Sat 13 Dec 2008 - 16:27

Stamped text on the front reads 'They looked up and saw a star,
shining in the east, beyond them far,
and to the earth it gave great light,
and so it continued both day and night.

Inside the message reads
The cheeriest of Christmas thoughts,
The brightest wishes too,
Are wrapped up in this Christmas card,
And sent along to you.

Wishing everyone at Canny Crafter a merry christmas and a happy new year for 2009.

Happy crafting love Cynthia (Mistyrat)

Thank you for the lovely card Cynthia.

If the image is to small just shout as I have been having problems with Photobucket.

Looks lovely, Helen, but definitely a bit small, I'm afraid.

thats a lovely card, both card and verse. how did you get the sleigh reverse, did you stamp once and then fold like the ink pictures?

To reverse the image I ran a roller over the stamp to lift the image then quickly run this onto the card. Tricky to do at first but after a few tries you have the position right to then stamp the original over to give the effect.
Similar to doing water reflections.
Glad you managed to enlarge it.
I have managed to get good photo's of Joy's card so need to get in on here now Rolling Eyes
