For a friends Birthday

Here's a parchment card I made last week.



I have not done parchment for ages so this is just white work for starters.

A very pretty card. I have tried parchment and know how patient you have to be but it is worth the effort.

It's lovely, had a go once but just couldn't get on with it either. The little bit of gold is really pretty.

I've not done any for well over a year, maybe closer to two. Probably forgotten how now, lol.

Thankyou all for your nice comments, I haven't done any for yonks either Lorraine thats why this one is just white work. Doing a farwell/new home one for my nextdoor neighbour who is moving next week, its got colour but will have to hold the phone further away cos I'm not happy with the painted part. just got to put it all together but DD has friends in so I can't get to the dinning room table to finish it off. Will post a picture when its done.
