these were taken at a Course Landaise which is like a sort of bloodless bull fight. The players have to jump over the bull, getting as close to it as possible without getting gored. The girl top left is my cousin Emma from Shanghai, standing next to her auntie (Pattys sister Rita)

Glad you said bloosless bullfight. I detest bull fighting.
Doesn't Rita look like Patty.
As Patty said, nice LO, not so nice subject.

Oh its great fun - the bulls enjoy it (I think) and there are often injuries but to the gymasts not the bulls and they sometimes do double summersaults and stuff over them and everyone cheers. They are a regular thing at fetes round here.

I would never have associated bulls with France regarding sport.

Lovely LO, a preferable way for bulls to be seen in a ring than the Spanish version

Looks like great fun, Maria.
As long as the bulls aren't getting hurt, I could enjoy that. Mr Green

I promise everybody that there is absolutely no spears/knives/weapons involved. The bull is 'managed' bya sort of logn rope with a slip not so they sort of force him to run in a certai line and the gymnasts have to dance about him. Occasionally they get it wrong and the bull has them! this usually results in a broken arm or finger etc and the bull isnt punished of course. Mostly the problem is the bull gets bored and stops charging and so they change them ever few runs.
