Fluorite, Tigers Eye & Pearl Sets
Ok, thought to myself last night, i haven't done any stringing for ages, so i thought i had better see if i could still design stuff and string it lol. Those pesky little seedies were whinging the whole time i was making these lol.
First is a Fluorite Set
Next up is a Tigers Eye Set
Third is a Shell, Potato Pearl & Opal Set (i am pretty pleased with this)
I also made these little St Petersburg Bracelets in mixed colours.
and some of lynn's Starfish but i made them into hair clips
That's it for this week so far.

But it's only Tuesday, Carol! Goodness knows how much you will get done at this rate. They are all lovely, but the bracelets really appeal to me.

They're all gorgeous, Carol.
I love fluorite and have just sold the one off my website, so may get some more in the future. Loving your tigers eye set though.

These are all lovely but I esp like the bracelets. They look really chic. Are they your own design or is there a pattern. Would love to have a try at this one. Could imagine one in every colour LOL

Re: Fluorite, Tigers Eye & Pearl Sets
Thanks Everyone. Im actually thinking about changing the flourite set
(taking of the silver coloured drop pendant and putting on a wire
wrapped flourite piece like it has either side. Hmmm, may do it an put
a poll up to see which looks nicer lol.
My fav set it the shell one too.
I made some more stuff today, I had some orders from my mums friends, and i made a raw bracelet.

- I believe if memory serves me correctly a potato pearl is a cultivated irregular shaped freshwater pearl, but my memory does fail me from time to time lmaoAmullree wrote:I love the shell one but what's 'Potato pearl'

Its really easy Karin, the instructions are easy to follow too, but even though the pattern is called St Petersburg Stitch, i think its only half of the st petersburg stitch, because you normally to it on the other side too. If you look at the link below then the linkto the tut i used you will see what i mean.
This is the st petersburg stitch i know... http://www.beadandbutton.com/bnb/objects/pdf/bbpdf070475.pdf
But this is the tutorial i used to make the bracelets... http://www.beadingdaily.com/blogs/daily/archive/2009/07/29/learn-st-petersburg-chain.aspx
Dont forget to show us your colour combos
