Steamy Singapore
Here's a picture some kind passer-by took for me this morning on my two hour walk around Singapore City,. This is the Merlion, symbol of Singapore, half lion, half fish.

Re: Steamy Singapore
The trousers are rather loose and baggy these days, so the drawstring has longer ends ..... it was only you who had trouble with it anyway when you were wearing them!! Norty!!!

Re: Steamy Singapore
I borrowed the trousers from mum alot in the summer when I popped home for the weekend and stayed a month. We cant usually share trousers because I am a foot taller but its ok on those cut down ones.
the 'string' kept dissapearing inside the holes and so mum had to keep rethreading it through. She kept telling me to be careful and I was, but it still kept doing it.
Mum had a laugh recently when she was packing for S'pore because she got the trousers out, washed from when I was there and of course they were stringless again!

Re: Steamy Singapore
That's it.
We're freezing to all heck and you have the audacity to post a pic with you in a sun top.
It's a great pic, hun and you look wonderful. I'm so glad you're enjoying yourself. I love that lion fish too, it's an impressive bit of work.

Terrific to see you in the sun, if your seaside town is anything like ours you're not even missing the snow, so enjoy. Love the trouser story.
