I will chatter to that girl of mine about her postage problems too in case it is difficult for anyone. I run an account for her here, so it may be easier for me to pay hers and mine together and dock her the postage from her loot!

no, its fine mum - I need french stamps to send to Lorraine anyway, and I have a stash of Uk stamps as you know.

It's a bit less stressful than a direct swap for me, as I'd feel I'd got to cater for that particular person with out really knowing what they like.

OK, if any of you have made a list of the swaps, hang fire.

I shall be changing the June ribbon swap to something else, so Patty can do the ribbon swap now.

Was your ribbon theme going to be a straight swap Lorraine, like Patty's is.
It's not really a creative challenge just to do a straight swap so I would
have assumed that it was going to contain making something and if so,
you could still do that.

Ok I have an idea, but not sure if its up others alleys, for me at the moment I've done a few things this way.

How about a square swap. You cut say 20 2.5inch square pieces of paper preferrably patterned, with a few that co-ordinate and then send to someone else. Rather than send to you Lorraine as it will be straight swap.

I've used that size squares as a panel base on my baby cards. Then maybe we could make something and upload it.

Sounds an excellent idea. I often use similar shapes on my postcards.
They look pretty good, but for a card background, great.
