Riuth's Retreat Pics
This first one involved a tree template, paint, stitching (granted in my case it is minimal but I stitched on a LO, I can't even sew a button on straight!) and layering of things you maybe wouldn't usually layer, in this case journalling blocks

I too like the tree idea, its minimal but then it looks busy if that makes sense. Very nice layout and those little birdies definately stand out.

now ,i love absolutely everything about this lo ruth ,the tree , the layering of the journalling blocks ( which seems to be the "in" thing at the moment .
The stitching ,even though it is not a lot its enough .even the space in the top left corner seems to tell a story ,ie giving the tree space to grow !!!
do you mind if i lift this one totally !!!!
