Grounded Empty Grounded

Post by thriftycrafter on Fri 30 Jul 2010 - 15:07

Well something different for me, a challenge on SFTIO; topic Courage, challenge about wings, so I did the cartoony style collagey thing with me and the wings, and I know they're upside down but they looked really daft the right way up. Journalling;
If I had wings...
Well I don't really feel that I'm a flier. I'm happily plodding along on the ground. Sometimes I like to escape a bit, to travel, see new places, experience new things. That's when a pair of wings like this would be handy. They look strong, they are beautiful and they have useful hooks at the top so I could put them on when I wanted to, not in order to soar and look down on things, but to explore and then to return home, back to the ground to plod contentedly on.
All materials from the kit, I can't believe I used all those lovely flowers on one LO!!!
It's more creamy coloured IRL

It's lovely karelyn. I love it, and it's so different.
Love the journalling too - with you all the way in having
your feet on the ground.

Wow, that's fab!!

i know what you mean about using lots of things, but my record is something like 270 odd brads on a LO, so you have a way to go yet Grounded Icon_wink

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date  Laughing

Karelyn that is really super and I love the whole idea of it! My feet are never on the ground, so I would have to have the angel flying off the page!!!
