Hello!

I found this forum almost accidentally when I noticed some members alighting on one of my web pages

My name is Bev and I live with my partner and two kids in South Wales. I love arty-crafty stuff such as art journals, Zentangles, sock knitting and - right now - making quilted journal covers and bags. I tend towards the slapdash rather than the neat.

We home educate our two youngest children (12 & 9) and, to help with the family finances, I write web content for Squidoo and do a little bookkeeping work.

Very welcome indeed! We're a friendly bunch, although a little quiet at the moment as some of our members are on holidays. We're into all sorts of arty crafty stuff ourselves between us, and regularly hold swaps, which you might like to get involved in as time goes on. (But it's not compulsory!).

Make yourself at home, have a nosey round, and hopefully you'll be part of the gang in no time!

We don;t have much bandwidth, so we generally link to Photobucket. Think there are some instructions somewhere...

The mermaid was drawn for me by my daughter, Tegan, for an art journal page.

Hi Bev - this is a fabulous group, and hope you'll stay around.
I am a (pensioner now- ) from Oxford - born and bred here.
I love all sorts of crafting and have tried most things - I love ATCs,
scrapping and cardmaking. I am currently doing a wedding album as
my middle son got married in St Lucia in June (my future DIL won the
holiday and money from ITV) - there was 14 of us altogether and it was
amazing.That will be part of their Christmas present.
This was the first time I have tried Zentangles and really enjoyed them.

Love Tegan's drawing. I have 5 grandchildren and the four younger ones
also love crafting, drawing and colouring. How old is Tegan ?
We have a few crafty kids on here and we all love to encourage them.

We are unable to upload photo's directly into the posts on this forum, so we have to use an image host. It's your choice which you use, but photobucket is easiest I think.

If you scroll down the main index page you will find 'Gallery of Sorts' and in there are different forums for cards, scrapbooking, showcase anything else, etc, etc. Just start a new thread and post your work in there.

Read the rules at the top of the index page and then you can join in swaps and stuff when you've been with us a little while.

Meanwhile, have a look round, join in and have fun.

Does that mean I could have used photobox which I already had and didn't need to bother with yet another site aaargh!

Hi Bev as has already been said this place is ace, we've been around for quite a while now and are a really friendly bunch. I was looking on the squidoo site yesterday after seeing the link in our swap thread, Lovely work.

Someone asked how old Tegan is. She'll be 9 this coming Saturday. She was born an hour or so before the Twin Towers came down.

I will have a go at the photobucket thing, though, initially, these things are very confooosing to an old gal!
