LOL don't even look at how long the grass is, this is what I can see from my kitchen window, the ditch is behind the buddleia, and is currently just about empty, but with the ammount of rain we've been having and the feel of the ground I reckon it will be filling up pretty soon. The tree is a beech.

i get them sometimes too ,we have to make sure billy does not get close to them as he is allergic

Are they edible, they do look very nice and would make a great layout, is that adifferent one the pinky thing round the back of the tree, looks like a fairies house LOL.

LOL Karelyn, but lovely as they do look I'm with Patty, get thee rid as they are not good for the garden or that poor tree. they are running along its roots.

It's a lovely sight to look at - seems as if there should be fairies flitting

I'll see if it's dry tomorrow, then I'll go pick them, I don't want to mush them up everywhere. I think they look nice though, not really worth worrying about what's good for the garden the tree certainly isn't, but I love it.
The thing at the back is a fake one, a pair of ceramic mushrooms/toadstools.
