Plenty of recycling here!
This is a card that's worthy of the swap, except that I'm about to send it to my oldest friend, Ray:
Card blank is a bit of leftover card, hence the odd size; the white piece with the vellum stitched on it was from a used card - the little gold leaf was cut from a used card and covered up the tear where I took off a star sequin; the tag is a clothing tag - it's a double tag and there was printing inside, which I've covered with a Happy Birthday greeting cut from a used card; the black velvet ribbon is reused (can't remember what from) and the insert is made from a reclaimed piece of white paper.
Still can't believe that Kate has no recycled stuff in her craftroom.

Me too. I'll not be using stuff from my craft room either, lol.
I hope whoever gets mother's hair on theirs appreciates the effort I went to.

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date

Re: Plenty of recycling here!
Lovely card , i was having an Italian meal on Friday night ( a friend of a friend's birthday) and someone gave one of the other ladies a box of Lily O'Brien chocolates, she opened them and shared them out after the meal, and i got one choccy but also the super green ribbon, with a bow and i also 'disposed of' the box itself, it was very good quality card..what was i supposed to do...leave it on the table???? that would have been rude.
It did cause a stir in the pub later when i asked someone to pass me my phone out of my pocket and she pulled out the box lol
