You're not supposed to look at the 'dragon' per se. You should be looking at the work, the colouring, shadows, highlights etc.......the ART!!!!

yes i know that but when i look at a dragon of any sort it makes me dither ,then i can't look at " the art"

it has not got a shadow !! lots of shading ,but no shadow

Oh, well. Kate'll like it I reckon. Mind you, maybe not 'cause he's not exactly cute, lol.

Well I for one think its amazing, we love dragons in this house too. I can see him with a firey sky behind him and he's perched on a rock.

Why do the scales change shape and colour at the shoulder, is it to show off the muscle area , the powerful bit. Of course I love the colour LOL.

Oh I would love to see your dragon as I love them, but again I cannot see them at all.

He's terrific, what do you do, have you drawn the entire thing in PS?
If so it is amazing, Would be great for a boys card or a pic on his wall.

Must admit when I saw the words Dragon and Lorraine I thought Mother. LOL

I think Gordon is a master piece, do you think the ones in 'Avatar' started out like this. Perhaps he will carry Betty off to a distant land for a day or two to give you some rest. LOL

I wondered what I was going to see/read when I saw Lorraine had posted a thread
called DRAGON. The mind went into overdrive.
BUT I think he is great - as you said, not cute, but quite a fearsome
dragon.

I didn't draw the dragon. It's a photoshop brush which for those of you that don't use Photoshop means it's just a plain black image (ish) to guide you and I did the rest of it.

Well it is bloomin' fantastico!! I only wish I could do more with PS, because I did a college course to learn the basics. This really is a great work of art and I love, love, love the dragon itself.

That's great, I hate to think what it would look like if I got hold of it. I like the idea of a dragon brush though.

All I get is the dreaded red X.

That was my thoughts too!

Love the dragon, I would have used green and silver. Shading ect is fab.
