...sort of, well I looked at the examples and as you can see, went off on a different tack.

Also did this one with my kit from USA, I didn't realise I hadn't got a pic of me with my firstborn as a newborn until I went to do this.
He's a day old in this, the other 2 are fresh though.

Journalling reads;
Journalling reads;During labour I was totally self centred, if the hospital hass collapsed around me I wouldn't have taken any notice. The body is terrific in the way it manages the birth process.
After the birth, despite the pain and tiredness I was ... Walking on sunshine.

Absolutely love both of these Karelyn!!! Scatty says so too Wink . That punch(?) around the edge on the top one is really nice.

I think the journalling on the second one is brilliant; making me think that I should also document how I felt after the birth of both of my two.

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date  Laughing

Thanks girls, that's what the challenges on the 'Scrapbooking from the inside out' site are all about, this month it's inspiration this one was 'Bliss', and gave a bit of guidance, there's always a design twist too, use balloons or kites, did both here.
It's a Martha Stewart punch I borrowed form Tracy Gough, as is the sunshiny one on the 2nd, lusting after that one a bit.

They're both really lovely, Karelyn.
That sunshiny punch as you call it, is next on my list too. Mr Green

Great layouts Thrifty ... and I, too, would have bought that sunshiny punch this weekend if she had had it. May well have to look at Ally Pally in a couple of weeks' time because I love it!

That reminds me - I have a lovely photo of me bathing Tim for the first time (42 years ago now!) with Mia standing by and adding her bit!!

Great LO's, and yes despite the pain Walking on sunshine describes it perfectly although only for my second and third, when Matthew was born I just felt absolute terror
