First ever layout!
Well here it is, honest opinions please - would you add/do anything else? It is of my eldest son Neil when he was 3.
Photos not too good, but had to get them while the camera had life.

Re: First ever layout!
I love the black swirls, very lush. Are they a die cut?
A lovely lovely layout, I really must try do some more myself sometime.

Re: First ever layout!
It is a lovely LO, there is no right or wrong way to scrap, and as time goes on you'll develop your own style, look forward to seeing many more and those are cute photos
Re: First ever layout!
i love this, the colours are great and i love the pictures.
I think the balance is great, i especially love the ric rac braid and the embossing on the black matt under the photo.

Don't change a thing, good colours, lovely photo's a nice bit of texture, wonderful hand-written journalling, what more could you want, it's all there. I would never guess this was a first LO.

Re: First ever layout!
You have done a fabulous job for a first LO DI. My William was like that when he was little, same hair style and colour and huge smiles. He hates smiling for the camera now!
Re: First ever layout!
Very nice LO.

I would never have guessed this was your first LO Di if I hadn't known.
It's great and as Ruth said, if you like it, that's it.

Re: First ever layout!
Thanks everyone, encouraged to do another one now! Have a picture of him sat on motorbike with his Dad so that's next.
Neil is still a smiler, always got a grin on his face.
Wanted to ask you Lou, I have only got one half decent photo of myself with Neil when he was small and also one of my parents with him. They were taken same day. But for some reason the pics have gone rather yellow, is there anything that can be done to make them usable?

Re: First ever layout!
Wow Di - that's fantastic for a first layout ... well, fantastic for ANY layout. Mia and I both thought it was great - lovely colour, lovely spread over the page and gorgeous boy too!! I bet you're pleased with yourself. Now keep 'em coming, because we shall all have to look to our laurels when you start entering the challenge too!

I'm sure there is, Di. Scan them in at a really high res and email them to me. I'll sort them out for you. The higher the res the better for printing, hun.
