No Hay Fever
At the show on Saturday there was a stand that had these made up into balls hanging around and I thought oh I like them, so I dug out my nice japanese papers to have a go, which is what I did yesterday. I need to do a couple more to make this look right.

Pretty Alison. Have seen these made up into the hanging decorations and they are quite easy to make too. What have you usd for your stems?

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date
Re: No Hay Fever
Thanks Cath, I used wire with a bead going through the midle hole, bent over and into one of those sticks that balloons get handed out to kids in places like Macdonalds, I got mine from work after we opened they were going to toss them.

Re: No Hay Fever
Thanks Tina and Patty.
No Patty as Cath says they are very easy to make, I will go find you a link to a tutorial on you tube Patty. I used papers that I got in Sanfransico. Also I used pva glue. I did them while chatting at craft group and only needed to find something for the centers to hold the wire as I didn't want to do them into a ball.

Re: No Hay Fever
This is just one of loads Patty, no talking to bug you either. Use any size square mine are 6x6 and they use 5 to make up the flower I did as the show so mine have 7 petals, six in the dark one.

Second one uses 12x12 sheet so its good and big to see what to do.

Re: No Hay Fever
You can take these into hospitals too, not sure about everywhere but real flowers aren't allowed in ours now.
Very pretty might save this for next year's Mothering Sunday session at Youth club, not sure they'd want to make more than one though.
That was a good tutorial her nail varnish was so yucky though, nice colour but globby or what!

No, flowers are not allowed in our hospitals either - and that was when I was in 3
years ago. So many people brough me flowers but they had to take them away. That
was the first I knew about that rule.

Re: No Hay Fever
Love the flowers, will have to follow the tutorial two or three times, yes the blue nail varnish put me off, there are some other types on there.
