Technique playing.
Using my distressing inks again, of course. Stampbord was inked, stamped and scratched back. The edges were stroked with versamark, dipped in gold embossing powder and heated.
The background was bugged, then inked. Then versamark was very lightly stroked over the top and then gold embossed and with the few stray bits, the effect is supposed to be oldish/distressed.
