Stitching finished
I started this lord knows how long ago, Lynda showing us all her lovely work made me dig it out and I have done it at the last two craft group meetings. It is very well traveled as it has been packed whenever we have gone away in this country in case I had time to fill. Never did.
I have put the hangers that I have had waiting to be used, maybe I bought them to be used with this I can't remember, anyway that is the next bit to do and then it can be hung this coming December.

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date
Re: Stitching finished
Ooh, that's gorgeous, Alison! How are you going to finish the edges? I seem to think there's a type of hem you can do where there's a pulled thread where the hem meets the main part of the linen, and that looks very attractive.

Re: Stitching finished
Thank you.
Well Lynda, funnily enough I was going to ask you if you knew of anything other than fraying the edges. I will spend some time goggling to see what I can find. Just must get it finished so it doesn't spend some more years waiting. LOL

Re: Stitching finished
I will see if I can find the pattern I used that had the edging on it: have a suspicion it might have been a Christmas one, so not something which is hanging up at the moment. I do remember that I was really thrilled with the effect when I did it.

Corr, yummy, well done Scatty for finishing it, and Lynda for spurring her on, the edging sounds nice we'll need to see that too when done, please.

Re: Stitching finished
Lovely bead work I've done that pulled work years ago and it really finishes the piece, good luck.
