Cord Jeans.

So, I've finished my cords. I'm quite pleased with them, but there are a couple of things I'd do differently next time, making the front depth a bit shorter for one. I embroidered one back pocket.







And this dress for Mia is all cut out and marked now, ready to start sewing tomorrow.

Wow nice work on the jeans. Mia will love having a new dress. Will Aiden be big enough for his outfit this year?

Yes, she's good, but sadly you can't cover the cost of your time unless it's something like bridal wear Maria, especially nowadays as there are so few fabric shops.

Thank you. Yes, I'd have to work at a loss (as I do with all my bags now they're reduced) but the main reason I wouldn't want to do it for a living, Maria - I'd be under an obligation, and I hate that. I like to craft/sew/whatever when I want and do what I want, so to have to work to deadlines and have folk interfering isn't for me.

Also, with the present situation with your Mother's health, you are bound to have days when suddenly you couldn't work, so that would put you under even more pressure.
