Question: Has he got any little black spots anywhere at all?

The theory is......a pure white cat with no other markings is usually deaf. We had a white cat with a black spot on him...though can't remember where. Thats when Mum told me the theory !!!!

I hope he realises how wanted he is, he looks happily settled in.

I've heard that, or something similar - can't remember exactly.

Ours is pure white, not a coloured hair anywhere, perfect hearing, she can hear her food box being rattled from quite some distance lol. It's the colour of the eyes that is more of a sign, if they have blue eyes they are more likely to be deaf. Holly has greeny/yellow eyes.
Absolute nightmare for sheding her hair though!! Never stops and in the summer you can brush loads out every day, wonder where it all comes from, don't know if you will find he is the same.

Not another colour on him and he has great hearing and like Di he has yellow eyes. I loves him to bits.
