First Silver Stuff....
Well, these are my first attempts at using the Art Clay Silver. Pics are a bit crappy but I couldn't wait for daylight.
The leaf was done with paste over a real leaf but is, I think, a bit of a disaster. Still, lessons were learned and I'll try a better leaf next time.
The lady type person has the headpiece, collar and other bits burnished to a high shine but the face and inside the headpiece is actually more matt in real life.

Lorraine - they are both gorgeous. I've seen them demo it on C&C in the past
although not recently. It's very effective.

Both terrific, very impressive. I think goats would be very tricky to make, now hippo's, they're easier surely.

Re: First Silver Stuff....
I like the leaf and the general look of the stuff. the 'person' type looks a bit oriental (and you know me and oriental!)

Wow! If only some of my first attempts at things were half as good! Love the leaf - looks so real.

Re: First Silver Stuff....
Thanks, girls.
It's funny though. Everybody seems to like the leaf and yet I just love the woman thing. It's much nicer in real life and I'm already wearing it. Can't part with my first ever piece can I?
The leaf is, in fact, broken. so I did some experimenting with Liver of Sulphur and aged it. I wasn't sure I'd like the effect, but I think I do.

They are great. How did you do the face one? did you have a mould?

Re: First Silver Stuff....
My first thought when I saw this was "that leaf is gorgeous", so if that's a disaster I hate to think how amazing a success would be!
