I got a birthday card

I got a birthday card today with don't open till your birthday on the envelope, I did a bit of defetive work and deduced it is from Karin, so just to let you know it has arrived and I will not open it till the 3rd Jan.

Oohh goodie its arrived safe. I am so determined to be on the ball next year I have already done two January birthdays. Yours and a friends on the 2nd. Didn't I put my addy on the back, usually these days I put a stick on with address. Its proved useful though cos last year I sent a christmas card to a distant relative of Martins, only for it to be returned and when I asked Martin if he knew about it, he said "! oh I forgot to tell you that she passed away". So embarrasing.

Anyway glad you got it safe, now put it in a safe but remembered place xx

I don't mind it getting guessed, I hate the idea that if I didn'tput my details on the back and it went missing that it wouldn't re-appear.

I have two more cards arrived today, carefully peeled the corners to check if they were chrissy ones or not, so that three to open on Saturday now, lovely.
