Had a look at the gallery and wow! some gorgeous pieces in there, wish I had the time and inspiration to join! Will have to do another swap

Ive just been and had a look at them all on their gallery. I don't think I will have time to comment on them individually this time as the days are running away a bit at the moment! I did love them all and unlike that girl of mine, I would find it hard to put them in "order". What IS she like, eh?? Thanks so much for organising this one Lorraine in your own imitable efficient way ... and for taking the pics too of course.

Thanks Lorraine for all the organising, and thanks everyone for taking part. It's a treat when your swaps arrive and a treat to look through the gallery too, I don't think there's one that you could say I don't really like that, they are all so lovely and different.


And you know what I REALLY like about this forum, whenever you take part in a swap or similar it's always done on time, or extremely close to it. Just goes to show what considerate people you all are (says last minute Lil here).

Well, I haven't had mine yet, most seem to have got theirs.
Hopefully they will be here tomorrow.
Top prize for me has to go to Lorraine - either of them
and 2nd and 3rd go to Sue's poppy and Billie's yellow one.
Having said that, they are all lovely and I shan't mind whatever I get.

Yippee!!! Got two wonderful ones this morning - one from Steph (windowbox) and one from Nona (with all those dilly dangling beads and the swirly green grass bits!) Thanks so much - they are really lovely.

and if Nona can do work like that BEFORE the cataract was removed, imagine how good its gonna be now.

I got mine this afternoon (late afternoon/early evening post!!!)

I am so lucky - I got one of Lorraine's - the first one (violet). It's even more fabby close up.
The photo doesn't do it justice. So well done Lorraine - thank you very much .
The second one I got was Sue's Oriental lady and fan. Again, photo doesn't show it's
full skill.

BTW I shan't be using them as toppers - they are mine to keep. I may use them in
scrapbooking iof the opportunity arises - that way they stay with me and in the family.
I have never put anything I have swapped on cards to give away.

Yipee, mine have arrived and I got a lovely one from Kim reminding me not to get obsessed with the ski season (though I shall wave it at DH when he says for the umpteenth time that he thinks we've had it as far as beach weahter goes this year) so true it is.

Sometimes, when I am feeling even vaguely low, I come on here and you lot simply crack me up. I am sitting up here in my little office, and laughing out loud at some of the stuff. Keep it up gels!! And be sure to bring that purple one home to show me Mia.

Hey, if you organise a swap and do all the chivvying, sorting and posting, then it's only right that you get to choose which one you'd like to keep, all our tastes vary anyway, so if you have one you like then you know that's one guaranteed happy swapper LOL, as if anyone would be less than happy with these.
Swaps here are getter better and better.

and whilst youre at it, Tell teabag she has completely lost me on the hangman. I dont even understand which letters are in and which arent. the answer seems to be cheesy feet and Im sure thats not a craft item.
