And now Sunday
Just one here although the two others from today are on my blog. This is my favourite Stamping Up stamp with Doodlebug papers
Re: And now Sunday

That's lovely, Ruth - so serene-looking, despite being a bright colour.

Love it, the colours are gorgeous. I always get a bit iffy about using brads. i love em, but I think to myself that if someone buys the card and their recipient just throws it in the bin, what a waste of a lovely item. Daft I know.

Yes it is flocked and they aren't brads they are just sticky things that look like them, they save the hassle of banging a hole-how lazy is that.LOL
Re: And now Sunday
Wow they are fabulous, what a product. chearper than brads I reckon too.
How do you choose your papers. Do you already have in mind a colour and you then just route through the paper.

For this one I had in mind the colours as I nicked the layout from the pack the papers came in. Other times I have the papers in mind but mostly I colour then think about the papers, luckily today i have been able to use the basic grey on two cards. I should think about papers first but I like colouring bes!
Re: And now Sunday
This yummy yummy. Really well balanced and gorgeous.
Karin - know what you mean about putting brads etc on cards for
'ordinary folk' (as opposed to crafters) - that's why I use so many
in scrapbooking - that way I don't have to aprt with them.

Ilike the idea of colouring in first then choosing papers. I did do some with the Tilda Sitting stamp I have, but again it was sort of copied LO from the pic I took when buying the stamp at the fair.
Thats it Steph, 'ordinary folk' have no idea of the effort gone into the cards. One friend of mine I once made a shrink plastic shoe embellie on a card for actually gave me the card back. Cos I joked that if she wasn't gonna keep it I'd have it back....and she did. It took ages to find the right picture I wanted, then draw it onto the plastic, colour in and shrink.

I just make sure the cards I make her now are not as fancy. I suppose I knew it in the end otherwise wouldn't have asked. It came about cos she had asked me to do a golf card for her mum. I used a couple of golfing buttons on it. Very nice ones. Then much later when I asked if her mum had liked it and we talked about keeping cards she said that she doubted her mum would have kept it. It would be in the bin :face: thats why I asked for it if she wasn't keeping it.
