My boys...
I thought it was about time I 'introduced' you to the new additions to our family since I drifted away from the forum!
Archie (on the left) came to us about 18 months ago; he had been a drugs sniffer dog, but failed for being too friendly . His owner couldn't keep him if he wasn't going to earn his keep, so he was rehomed, then fostered, then rehomed (twice) before coming to us. He is a lovely boy, very independent, but also very well behaved, and we have taken him away with us in our caravan (another new addition!) lots of times and he absolutely loves it!
Taffi (on the right) is almost the same age, just 3, and was a pet from when he was a puppy. He lived very happily with his owner until she was taken ill in the autumn, and sadly had to make the decision to give him up as she couldn't look after him any more. He came to us as a foster dog, and unfortunately his 'mum' died within a few days. It was pretty much love at first sight, and on Christmas Morning I found a name tag with our address on it in my stocking from DH, so I knew that I had been 'allowed' to keep him: Taffi is very affectionate, a lap dog given half a chance, but also a little tinker with it! He chewed DD2's crocs this morning, so we will be off to buy her some new ones very soon! I wouldn't change him for the world though.
So, when I mention taking 'my boys' out' you know who on earth I'm talking about now! (and why on rainy days I get stressed, 'cos they are a couple of muck-magnets!!!!

No, I'm not putting my 'to do' list here, that would be far to organised, PLUS I would have to keep it up to date
Re: My boys...
Oh they are absolutely GORGEOUS!!!! Oh those eyes!
Thank you for showing us, and I hope you are going to do some layouts of them too (when you finish showing people roudn your house!). These look like a couple of real characters and make me just long for a dog again.
i wont be showing DH, he wants a springer spaniel! (I have my heart set on either a goldie or another bernese)

Erm, I hate to admit it, but I think I **may** just have scrapped Archie more often than my children over recent months

Re: My boys...
Oh Tina they are both georgeous.
As kim said we have a springer called Brie who is getting old now he's nearly 13 but still wants to go out on long walks no matter what the weather is like. Brie looks more like Taffi

Re: My boys...
This is Brie he used to live on a farm but the owners thought he ought to be a pet instead of a working dog so we bought him. we were worried he might not settle but he soon got used to lying next to the radiator and hes been with us now for nearly 12 years

And what a lovely photo of yours Dawn.
WSish I could have pets again but out of the question, but these sort of

Re: My boys...
All three look absolutely fabulous. Having an ex sniffer dog could prove interesting though. Does he still look for signs?
